Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms apply to this website and to services supplied by Belozi Business Consulting. A project-specific written quote, booking confirmation or agreement may add to or vary these terms. If there is an inconsistency, the project-specific document applies to that project.
1. Enquiries and engagement
A website enquiry is a request for assessment, not an accepted booking. An engagement begins when we confirm the scope, price and timing in writing and any required deposit is received. Quotes are based on the files, word count, format, purpose, deadline and other information available at the time. Changes may require a revised quote.
2. Client responsibilities
You must provide complete, legible and lawful source material, accurate instructions, the intended use, deadline, required format, and the preferred spelling of names. You must promptly check questions and the unstamped draft. You warrant that you have authority to provide the material and request the service, including personal information belonging to another person.
3. Translation process and corrections
Names, dates and factual details should be checked by the client at draft stage. We will correct an error attributable to our work within a reasonable period after notification. Changes to the source document, instructions, terminology preference or scope are additional work and may be quoted separately.
4. Interpreting and event bookings
You must provide the correct date, time, location or connection details, languages, expected duration and nature of the matter. Waiting time, travel, overtime, urgent work and cancellation terms will be stated in the quote or booking confirmation. Cancellation charges may reflect time reserved, work already performed and non-recoverable costs.
5. Fees and payment
Unless the quote states otherwise, document work begins after a 50% deposit, and the balance is due after draft review and before release of the final certified or stamped file. Prices, GST treatment, currency and accepted payment method are stated in the quote or invoice. We may pause work where payment or necessary instructions are overdue.
6. Delivery and third-party decisions
Estimated delivery dates depend on timely payment, instructions and responses. We take professional care but cannot guarantee that a government department, court, educational institution, employer or other third party will accept a document or produce a particular decision. You should confirm the receiving organisation’s current requirements before ordering.
7. Confidentiality and privacy
We treat client material as confidential and handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Information may be disclosed where necessary to perform the agreed service, with your authority, or where required by law. Please identify any special security, court, government or contractual requirements before engagement.
8. Intellectual property
You retain rights in material you provide and give us permission to use it to perform the service. After full payment, you may use the delivered translation for its stated purpose. Belozi retains rights in pre-existing methods, templates, terminology resources and website content. You must not use the website or our work unlawfully or misrepresent an altered document as our certified work.
9. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, liability for a failure of a service that is not a major failure may be limited to supplying the service again or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again. We are not responsible for loss caused by incomplete or incorrect source material, client-approved spelling, undisclosed requirements, unauthorised changes, or events outside reasonable control.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please raise a concern promptly by emailing info@belozi.com.au with the project reference and the outcome you seek. We will try to resolve the issue directly and fairly. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory law that applies.
